Senior Actuarial Associate (Group Insurance)','GI 000H3','!*! Prudential Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Actuarial Associate for the Group Insurance Actuarial Pricing team.  A successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical and communication skills with an attention to detail and be able to collaborate successfully with other members of the Actuarial staff, as well as with the Group Insurance Finance, Underwriting, Distribution, Product Development, Claims, Reporting and IT business partners to achieve optimal results.The primary responsibilities of this position include:•Develop and maintain manual rating and experience rating pricing methodologies for all Group Insurance products, including Group Life, AD&D, Long-Term Disability (LTD) and Short-Term Disability (STD). •Provide timely case-level pricing support and participate in pre-release pricing reviews for key accounts.•Collaborate with key business partners to communicate updates, provide training, gather market feedback, and identify methodology enhancement opportunities.•Prioritize and make recommendations for development of new/existing pricing assumptions.•Peer review and impact analysis of assumption updates.•Test and ensure accuracy of rating tool updates.•Prepare state rate filings.•Comply with internal and external regulatory requirements.           ','!*!

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or

related fields.

3 or more actuarial exams preferred.

1 or more years of actuarial experience

preferred.

Strong team player, willing to perform in roles that

assist as well as lead.

Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts

to non-actuarial business partners.

Superior technical skills and ability to understand

complex quantitative concepts and models.

Programming experience including Excel, Visual Basic,

SQL or Actuarial modeling software (Python, R, Julia, GGY Axis) preferred.

 

Preferred location in Roseland, NJ,

with consideration for virtual locations.
