Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking an Actuarial Analyst Lead in San Francisco, California (CA).\r
\r
Responsibilities Include:\r
Track receipt of policies and endorsement; upload to Teammate\r
Respond to audit requests from various accrediting/governmental agencies for pertinent insurance information (approximately once a month)\r
Help work with legal on gathering loss information\r
Monthly and Quarterly CMS reporting\r
\r
\r
Invoices/budget/purchase requisitions/approvals:\r
Confirm amount billed matches the premium bound\r
Submit request for payment through accounting system\r
Ensure A/P issues check in timely manner\r
Overnight payment to broker and ensure their receipt of payment and subsequently payment to insurer\r
Create tracking system to compare budget against, policy bound and invoice paid\r
\r
\r
Renewal process:\r
Track renewal information needed and due date for information to be provided to broker\r
Responses to renewal applications/worksheets to be tracked and documented in Teammate\r
Keep track of renewal timeline - i.e., applications due to broker; quotes due back to client; binding decision; bind documentation needed\r
Maintain spreadsheet for tracking renewal items\r
Schedule meetings to review quotes \r
Help with preparation of summary and talking points needed for review \r
Schedule meeting to review the renewal and make binding decision \r
Develop spreadsheet or Gantt chart for tracking items\r
Review and update as necessary the DLP for insurance renewal\r
\r
\r
Certificates of Insurance:\r
Review requests for certificates and ensure all information needed to issue the certificate has been provided\r
Request certificate and ensure it is issued\r
Create a certificate request template and provide education to requestors on how to complete\r
Create DLP for certificate of insurance request\r
\r
\r
Ad-hoc items such as, but not limited to:\r
Creating a Gantt chart of insurance responsibilities for the various owners (HR, legal, audit, Care 1st)\r

REQUIREMENTS:To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed. Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus.\r
