This position can be filled as either an Actuarial Analyst I or an Actuarial Analyst II depending on experience and this is at the managers discretion.

Actuarial Analyst - Job Family Posting

Completes projects and performs pricing for vision and dental

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Performs key actuarial functions including supporting new product pricing, evaluation of the impact of new legislation, and flexible benefit consulting.

Supports special projects such as developing and maintaining experience-rating formulae and creating and/or reviewing alternative settlement formulate and risk sharing models.

This position can be located at any Anthem office located below (No relocation assistance is available)

Actuarial Analyst I

Requires a

BS/BA degree;

required to have passed at least one Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exam;

or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Actuarial Analyst II

BS/BA degree

Required to have passed at least three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams

At least 2 years of disability pricing experience

Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Proficient in Microsoft Office
