Actuarial Associate – P&C (Remote)

This is a mid-level actuarial position with significant independence to perform analysis and develop solutions to actuarial issues with limited direction. The primary purpose is to assist actuaries in the analysis of product performance.

Job Responsibilities:

Owner of financial projection, valuation software or other actuarial modeling tools

Identify potential issues, related consequences, and recommend a solution, as well as identify opportunities for improvement

Maintain and improve or develop actuarial experience studies.

Act as project lead on actuarial studies, pricing/valuation strategies and policies.

Provides actuarial analysis, responses, and communications to product areas and other internal and external clients (e.g. in support of rate filings or audits).

Actively pursue actuarial accreditation. Maintains good standing in the actuarial student program.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics or a related field or equivalent professional related work experience

Four-plus years of experience in actuarial setting with progressive responsibilities

ASA/ACAS Level or equivalent

Broad knowledge of insurance operations and products.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Ability to interact with other functional areas as required.

Ability to pay attention to detail, produce accurate results and develop self-validation skills. Strong organization and time management skills.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:

$99,900.00 - $149,900.00
