Associate Manager, Actuarial (Modeling COE Business Architecture)','RAC0000L','!*!The Modeling Center of Excellence is responsible for the governance, development and testing of the valuation and projections end-to-end models within the Domestic lines of Prudential businesses.  The Business Architecture team within the Modeling COE is responsible for developing and leading the Actuarial Architecture strategy, designing and supporting the automation of the end-to-end Actuarial model process. 

This position will be a contributing role within the Business Architecture team supporting the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of end to end actuarial modeling solutions.  The role requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders within the Modeling COE as well as other actuarial and technology business partners. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Partner closely with end users to write business requirements and detail specifications.

Develop test plans and perform unit testing and user acceptance testing on actuarial data management solutions such as inforce data warehouse, assumptions data warehouse and run automation.

Develop testing tools to streamline/automate unit testing and user acceptance testing.

Create and maintain detail documentation for the inforce data warehouse, including data dictionary, business glossary, data enrichment logic and user guide.

Provide production and technical support on data analytics.

 

 

•College degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related discipline.

•3 years of testing/QA experience, preferably with data warehouse solutions.

•Strong written and oral communication; experience writing and communicating business requirements and specifications on complex data solutions.

•Experience with actuarial valuation models or insurance administrative system is a plus

•Strong command of Excel, VBA, SQL and demonstrated ability to streamline user acceptance testing.

•Experience with multiple development methodologies (e.g. waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) is a plus

•Demonstrated strong organizational skills and high attention to details.

•Ability to manage multiple initiatives, competing priorities, and drive projects to completion in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
