Provide strategic/analytic support for critical cross-functional BSC initiatives to optimize its products’ network design and develop value-based payment systems
Maintains and produces timely standard analytic reports for internal and/or external use
Analyzes the financial impact of changes in provider reimbursement and contracting terms
Assists in preparing the actuarial portions of financial statements
Compiles, evaluates and certifies statistical data on healthcare costs
Calculates premiums or reserves for new or existing products, and may perform research, experience studies and other statistical analyses.
May be rotate to a line of bus or unit for analyzing loss and expense reserves, developing rate indicators, evaluating pricing levels, analyzing profitability and communicating results to more senior actuaries','!*!
Bachelor’s degree with at least a minor in mathematics, statistics, computer science or equivalent business experience, Advanced degree is a plus
At least 2 years of professional actuarial experience

Demonstrated ability to lead/engage cross-functional teams and influence key decisions
Demonstrated ability to present and communicate results to executive audiences
Ability to manage projects and drive for results independently
Knowledge and application of healthcare data analysis principles, concepts and standards
Hands-on experience in data analysis tools, including but not limited to SAS, SQL, SPSS, Access, and/or Tableau.
