We’re looking for a detail oriented, technically savvy individual who is interested in using their skills to create and build process improvements for the many requirements associated with rate compliance work.

Humana is seeking a Rate Analyst to prepare rate manuals, actuarial memorandums, filing certifications, and responses to DOI inquiries. Duties include:
Preparing rate filings and rate change forms, and validating rate accuracy
Receiving and providing peer reviews
Creating process efficiencies, automation and documentation
Collaborating with fellow team members as well as building productive cross-functional relationships within multiple areas in the organization
Interpreting legislative updates and leading change when related to rate compliance, including collaboration with team members to perform, document and communicate impact analysis
Aiding in the implementation, testing, and execution of system application changes

Experience with data reporting and analysis
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project or Access
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Experience in the health solutions industry
Proficient in VBA and/or SQL
Prior work history in a project related setting
Prior experience with quoting tools in an insurance environment
