What You Will Do
The Intern collects and analyzes data from multiple sources for the development of reports and statistical information.
Compiles analytical and statistical reports as needed.
Reviews information for accuracy and reconciles data.
Conducts and synthesizes market research.
Assists in the creation and maintenance of analytic, financial, and/or actuarial models.
Communicates results to a wide audience, including both actuaries and non-actuaries.
What You Will Need
HS or Equivalent.
Progress toward Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or healthcare-related field is strongly preferred.
Successful completion of at least 1 SOA exam is preferred.
Relevant experience or field of study required.
Prior internship experience in actuarial or healthcare organization is preferred.
Ability to work part-time during school year is preferred.
