Aon Is Looking For a Retirement Actuary - Experienced Associate As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Retirement and Investment Consulting business group within Aon’s Radnor, Pennsylvania office. Your Impact as a Retirement Actuary - Experienced Associate Job Responsibilities:Pass actuarial exams (minimal requirement of one course per year)Solid administration and staff-level client relationships; developing some relationships with higher level client contactsAble to answer some client questions without reliance on lead actuaryCompletes some work through others (i.e. delegation)Prepare contribution requirements and accounting costs, with some oversightUpdate valuation runs for any changes and program provisions from scratchInterpret valuation results and provide initial recommendations to lead actuaryPerform more complicated or review more simple pension benefit calculationsMentor/train entry level studentsDemonstrate flexibility to work additional hours on occasion when client needs instructDraft original materials (e.g. letters, reports, discussion guides) with some guidanceRequired Experience:2 years of actuarial work experienceCompletion of several examsAdvanced Microsoft ExcelReconciliation of liability gains and lossesMicrosoft Word and Microsoft PowerPointPreferred Experience:ASA or EA DesignationsPension experienceValuation programming on ProVal systemBasic knowledge of funding methodsMinimum and/or maximum funding calculationsEducation:Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics or Statistics or similar fieldWe offer you:  A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. How we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
