Let’s do great things, together
Founded in Oregon in 1955, Moda is proud to be a company of real people committed to quality. Today, like then, we’re focused on building a better future for healthcare. That starts by offering outstanding coverage to our members, compassionate support to our community and comprehensive benefits to our employees. It keeps going by connecting with neighbors to create healthy spaces and places, together.
Moda Health is seeking an Actuary Intern to support the department and provide analysis and reporting for external and internal customers. The Moda actuarial internship position is a great way to explore the complex and dynamic field of health insurance. This position will provide exposure to all aspects of health insurance including data analysis, technical “tool” building, underwriting, and customer service. As a key member of the actuarial and underwriting team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with many different departments within Moda including Product, Sales and Service. The intern will work on projects that vary in difficulty and complexity, but are all important to the success of the actuarial and underwriting departments. While this position does not require previous actuarial experience, it is not an entry level position and is best for someone who has some professional and analytical experience.
Are you ready to be a betterist?
If you’re ready to make a difference that matters, we want to hear from you. Because it’s time to discover what’s possible.
