Description The International Consulting Analyst is responsible for liaising with local Mercer specialists and senior international consultants to deliver advice to US-headquartered multinational clients on retirement and benefit issues that arise outside the US. To fulfill this role, the Analyst will: Be the day to day contact and liaison for accounting consolidation project; communicate timeline and deliverables; consolidate information for review by more senior consultants; provide list of queries on local actuaries' input for discussion with more senior consultants Draft technical reports and other communications based on input from local Mercer consultants; liaise with Mercer consultants globally in order to provide initial draft responses to client questions on non-US retirement and benefit issues Act as project manager for significant multi-country projects Coordinate the delivery of services related to global offerings, such as global actuary and global benefits management Develop calculations and other analyses as necessary for review by more senior consultants Supports multi-country benefits due diligence for merger and acquisitions projects and provides advice on benefits integrationSupports senior consultants in advising clients on all aspects of retirement and benefit programs, e.g., accounting, funding, design and investment Supports multi-country benefit audits including comparison with market practice, and present results to client Utilizes Mercer's project management tools and processes as appropriate Identifies appropriate Mercer resources globally to respond to specific client requests on international issuesConsolidates and deliver global accounting results to US multinational clients Qualifications Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, finance, business or related field Proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills Mercer delivers advice and technology-driven solutions that help organizations meet the health, wealth and career needs of a changing workforce.
