The position will be part of PII GAAP Reporting team, who will be a key contributor to quarterly GAAP reporting oversight function for ex-Japan operation.

Work with Corporate, PII Modeling, PII Finance, PII Pricing, IT and Operations on FASB TI implementation, including

Understand TI methodology and perform impact analysis;

Support understanding, interpretation, implementation of disclosure request;

Develop process/plan to build financial restatement with GAAP modeling team and support operations in restatement of financial;

Support data methodology on actual to expected true-up process, ensure consistency across operations where makes sense;

Develop ongoing management report structure;

Support IFRS 17 and FASB TI reconciliation

Work closely with GAAP modeling team, Corporate Actuarial, PII Finance, operations to support GAAP reporting process, including but not limited to:

Reconcile GAAP results and perform trend analysis;

Investigate emerging GAAP issues and formulate solutions;

Respond to Corporate, PII Finance, and Operations’ requests;

Prepare year end supplementals;

Perform quarterly LRT estimation;','!*!

Bachelor’s degree with 3 actuarial exams

4 years of actuarial experience - GAAP valuation/reporting knowledge/experience preferred

Solid analytical skills - Capable of drilling down and solving issues using first principle

Strong verbal and written communication skill

Strong Microsoft skill

Team player and able to work collaboratively across various functions
