Senior Actuarial Associate (Modeling COE Axis)','MOD0003G','!*!This position is in the Research and Testing unit of the Modeling Center of Excellence (COE), which is a centrally organized modeling team promoting best practices and process improvements through collaboration and talent mobility.
 
The Research and Testing team is responsible for research of user modeling needs, proof of concept development, and model testing in GGY AXIS. The team will also interface with users to provide GGY AXIS consultative services.
 
The associate will work closely with partners from the business units, the Valuation COE, and other Modeling COE units. This function will enforce consistent system design across GGY AXIS models, mitigating and arbitrating issues and risks for model development.
The individual will have the opportunity to develop skills in GGY AXIS, Visual Basic, advanced MS Excel, advanced MS Access, SQL, and C# during the process of research and testing Prudential’s actuarial models. Any experience in the aforementioned areas will be a plus. The individual should also possess advanced quantitative and analytical skills which will be key to solving complicated business and/or actuarial problems and communicating technical concepts to a wide audience.
