Actuarial Analyst Jobs
An actuarial analyst position has responsibilities including analyzing statistical data; constructing probability tables so as to forecast risk and liability, developing various pricing strategies and policies; developing revenue forecasting models; performing risk management analysis; testing and modifying rate model testing; analyzing and implementing risk contracts; preparing, analyzing and submitting management reports; developing rating factors in support of setting rates; directing team members in analytical projects developing the recommendations; contributing in underwriting work; working with the management in developing new financial projects; and handling other tasks as assigned by the actuarial manager. An actuarial analyst typically reports to an actuarial manager.
An actuarial analyst has a bachelor's degree in a financial area like actuarial science or insurance. Excellent academic credentials are required. Excellent analytical skills are essential for such roles. Prior experience in this field may be advantageous.
