Actuary is a field that deals with the predicting of the future and its events. The actuary is required in certain fields to make certain decisions. The actuary involves the function of predicting and ascertaining the future events. Life is very uncertain. Nothing is fixed or certain in life. In spite of your full control on your life, there are uncertain events and happenings in your life. The actuary helps in predicting the future events to take some important decisions and actions. When you want to become an actuary you need to specialize in certain things. The things in which you need to specialize to become an actuary include - ascertaining how likely the future events might be, thinking of ideas, taking out ways to rule out the undesirable events or happenings taking place, reducing the consequences of the events that help in the prevention of the undesirable events. The actuary has to basically deal with the 'risk' element that is always involves in the future.
